The Peeps Connection app has implemented a robust set of protocols to ensure the security and privacy of your information. The contact database on your phone or tablet drives who can request or see information,. Only those recognized and authenticated contacts that have the app are authorized.

Users must sign-in to the PeepsConnection at start-up When using PeepsConnection for the first time, the user will be required to complete a registration process by tapping the REGISTER button.
Once registered, the user will be able to login using email/password, fingerprint or facial recognition.
To use fingerprint or facial recognition, the user will need to authorize and set-up those in the settings on their mobile phone or tablet.
If fingerprint or facial recognition is not used, the user simply enters their personal email address and the password established in the registration process and clicks the SIGN IN button.
A family administrator can be established for the primary user of the phone or tablet. This would be used in situations where multiple family members are using the PeepsConnection app and one or two members want to monitor usage of the app by others (usually under-age children).
The family administrator will be able to view Peeps Watcher and Check In activity or the family members. Family administrators will be automatically set-up as an Emergency Contact and approved for automatic access to current location information of the family members.
To be set-up as family administrator, the user must already be a registered PeepsConnection user on another mobile phone or tablet. To begin the, the family administrator taps the REGISTER button and follows the registration process.
During the registration process, the family administrator will be asked for the primary users email and password. This is required so the primary user is aware and agrees to family administration of the app.
If the user is registered and the mobile phone or tablet has been set-up to use fingerprint authentication, the fingerprint icon will be displayed at the bottom of the display. By tapping on the fingerprint icon, the PeepsConnection app will provide the fingerprint option for all future access.
The user will still be able to sign in with their email and password.
If the user has selected to use fingerprint identification, they will be prompted to touch the finger print sensor as appropriate.
Once the fingerprint has been authenticated, the user will be taken to the Main Menu of the PeepsConnection app.
By entering their email address and tapping the Forgot Password text on the Login page, the user will be prompted to respond to the security questions provided in the registration process.
Once the responses to the questions have been validated, an email will be sent to the user with a link to change their password. From there they can return to the PeepsConnection app and use the new password.

By tapping the "Remove me as a family administrator" text, the PeepsConnection app will remove access to Peeps Watcher and Peeps Connect In History. This includes being removed as an Emergency Peep and and as authorized for Automatic Location Access.
The primary users of the mobile phone or table and add them back using the Peeps icon from the menus.
Access the PeepsConnection app is driven by the primary user's mobile phone number and email address.
An entry must exist in the users Contacts file on the users mobile phone or tablet. The phone number must be labeled as "Mobile" and the email address must be labeled as "Home" or "Personal".
During the registration process (after entering the profile information and tapping next), the user will be sent a text and an email with a security for each.
This multi factor authentication allows the PeepsConnection app to verify that the user is the owner of the mobile number and email address and establishes them as primary identifiers for app use going forward.
The option is provided to have a new code established by tapping the RESEND CODE button.
Once the security codes have been entered and validated, the registration process can proceed by tapping the NEXT button on the Register User page.
A set of available security challenge questions and answers will be captured to use in cases where the user forgets their password or wants to change their password.
This provides an additional level of identity validation prior to sending emails for the password maintenance process.
Users can select if they want their default map style to be in Satellite or Roadmap format. When maps are displayed, the user will have the option to change the format for the current map being displayed.
Primary users can identify Peeps who can automatically receive current location information without intervention. For those requesting a Peeps Connect or Peeps Watcher, the primary user will receive a notification that the location has been provided to the requestor.
Multiple Peeps can be selected for Automatic Location Access. Peeps can be filtered by Group based on the label for the individual on the users contact file. For example, the list can be filtered by "Immediate Family" or "Family" or "Friends". Specific individuals can be selected by tapping the Search box and entering a name.
For requests coming from users without Automatic Location Access, the primary user will receive a notification that a location request has been received and when tapped, is taken to a page where they can respond accordingly.
During the registration process, primary users can identify other app users in case of an Emergency. Individuals identified here will be the recipients of the Emergency notifications submitted by the primary user.
Multiple Peeps can be selected as an Emergency Peeps. Peeps can be filtered by Group based on the label for the individual on the users contact file. For example, the list can be filtered by "Immediate Family" or "Family" or "Friends". Specific individuals can be selected by tapping the Search box and entering a name.
At a later time, Emergency Peeps can be changed by selecting the Peeps icon on the menus.
If the primary user does not want to communicate with a specific user on their contacts file, they can block any Peeps Connect or Peeps Request information from that person.
Multiple Peeps can be selected as a Blocked Peep. Peeps can be filtered by Group based on the label for the individual on the users contact file. For example, the list can be filtered by "Immediate Family" or "Family" or "Friends". Specific individuals can be selected by tapping the Search box and entering a name.
At a later time, Blocked Peeps can be changed by selecting the Peeps icon on the menus.
The contact file on the users mobile phone or table drives information used by the PeepsConnection app and will impact usability and presentation.
A series of audit reports are available to identify potential issues with the contact file for resolution by the primary user.
Changes to the contact information need to be made on the users contact app. Changes will not be recognized until either the user exists and re-enters the PeepsConnection app or selects the Sync Contacts option on the settings menu.
