Peeps Connection Tutorials

The Peeps Connection app has implemented a robust set of protocols to ensure the security and privacy of your information.  The contact database on your phone or tablet drives who can request or see information,.  Only those recognized and authenticated contacts that have the app are authorized.  

Peeps Watcher allows you (requestor)  to request and view on a map, the current location of authorized app users (the requestee).   If the requestee has authorized you in advance to access location information, the location will be provided in a matter of seconds.  Otherwise, the requestee will get a request notification and can respond accordingly.   

Users can check in with one or more Peeps, to include a message, local weather, current location, travel destination, and pictures.  Once received, the users can chat with each other.  Check In's can be a one time shot or recurring (every some many minutes, hours miles etc.).  When a destination is reached, an update will be sent to the appropriate Check In recipients. 

For frequent Check Ins, a template can be input and used anytime to identify the user has started a Commute (home, work, cabin etc.).  Recurring updates can be provided as the Commute progresses, ending with a notification the the user has reached the vicinity of the Commute destination.  

A user can request that one of their Peeps to send a Check In, see the responses to previous requests and identify requests that are pending a response. 

Provides a history of Check Ins that are currently active (recurring) and that that have been previously sent or received.  Detail information on each Check In can be selected and viewed. 

The contacts file on the users phone or tablet, drives definition of who your Peeps are.  Login/Registration, Peeps Watcher and Check Ins can only be sent and received with users of the app that are on the contacts file. From this feature, users can invite Peeps to download the app, authorize location access and designate emergency contacts.  

In case of an an emergency, the user can  initiate a notification to pre-identified contacts to include their current location and type of emergency (medical, vehicle active shooter, personal safety).  Option will be provided to dial 911 where appropriate.
